About Tira Do Playa

Tira Do Playa sits right along Andén de Riazor in A Coruña, giving off the kind of relaxed coastal energy that makes you want to slow down and enjoy a long seafood meal by the water. The moment you step into this stylish seafood restaurant, the atmosphere feels fresh and inviting, especially with the outdoor seating area that lets diners soak in the seaside surroundings while enjoying plates filled with local flavors. Whether you stop by for a casual lunch, an evening dinner with friends, or a more private gathering in the restaurant’s private dining room, the setting easily adapts without losing its laid-back charm.

One thing that makes Tira Do Playa stand out is how naturally it blends elegant dining with a comfortable, approachable vibe. Seafood lovers can expect dishes that feel vibrant and carefully prepared, while the menu also leaves room for lighter healthy options and flavorful small plates perfect for sharing. At the same time, the drink selection adds even more personality to the experience. You can sip on a chilled glass of wine, enjoy refreshing cocktails, or settle in with a cold beer while watching the atmosphere around the promenade come alive. Coffee and premium spirits are also available, making it easy to linger a little longer after the meal.

The restaurant works well for different dining styles too. Some guests prefer a relaxed dine-in experience near the ocean breeze, while others appreciate the convenience of takeout, delivery, or even no-contact delivery when staying nearby. The balance between quality seafood, welcoming service, and a beautiful location gives the place a memorable feel without trying too hard. Around every corner, there’s a sense that this restaurant was designed for people who genuinely enjoy good food, conversation, and the easy rhythm of coastal Spain.

We had a really great experience here! Waiters are very kind and knowledgeable so they helped us with making our choices. The fish and scallops were extremely fresh and delicious even with simple spices. Crisp bread with olive oil and a fun avocado amuse were very nice touches as well. Highly recommend!

Lobster salad was ok. There was too much dressing so the taste of the lobster was almost non existent. But the lobster rice was delicious! It’s a bit too pricy though.

Excellent food, service, wine and an amazing view. This was one of the more expensive restaurants we visited in Galicia, well worth every penny. The rice and desert were exceptional.
